Originally from San Jose, California, Melody is a poet and student at Princeton University studying Computer Science. Her work has been recognized by the National YoungArts Foundation and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and has also appeared in the 2021 YoungArts Anthology, The Avocet, and Austin International Poetry Festival. She has studied poetry and writing at the Iowa Young Writers' Studio, the Kenyon Young Writers' Workshop, and the Adroit Journal Summer Mentorship Program.
When she’s not writing, Melody can be found practicing violin, craving grapes, or looking outside her window.
